Training Runs
5K Training Program!
The GRR is offering a 5K training program designed
for beginners. This
course will be coached and led by club members
experienced in all
phases training and will lead into our own club race, "Reilly
Familiy Chiropractic Firecracker 5K" . If you know people who may be
interested, please pass this
information along, or if you would like to participate
yourself, we would love to see you.

Glastonbury River Runners meets weekly at the following
times and locations:
Tuesday Mornings - 5:30 AM
Medium runs of 3 to 9 miles. Meets at the
corner of Hebron Avenue and
Addison Street.
Thursday Mornings - 5:30 AM
Speed Work including warm up and cool down.
Meets at Glastonbury High School.
Saturday Mornings - 6:30 AM
Long runs of various distances. There are
generally many groups of runners familiar with the
area running distances between 8 and 20 miles.
Meets at the fountain on the corner of Main Street
and Hebron Avenue.
Sunday Mornings - 6:00 AM
Recovery runs ranging from 5 to 7 miles. Meets
at the Hebron Avenue Elementary School. |
GRR members are actively training for various distance
events throughout the year:
Boston Marathon Training:
Training for Boston begins the week of December 21st.
Providence Marathon:
Training for Providence begins the week of January
3rd.
